In total, 92 funds negotiated in exchange for crypto (ETF) are currently waiting for the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) examination, according to recent data from Bloomberg Intelligence, which quotes ETF analyst James Seyffart.
On August 28, Seyffart published a detailed spreadsheet via X (formerly Twitter) describing these ETF applications in the process, with the majority confronted with end deadlines in October, in particular those focused on Solana, XRP and Litecoin.
The rate of submission of new applications has intensified in recent months, which could lead to capital on the cryptography market and potentially mark the start of an Alts-season rally.
So Solana and XRP lead Lead Crypto Etf
Among the alternative cryptocurrencies (Altcoins), Solana and XRP are currently leading the list of applications.
According to data from analyst James Seyffart, Solana is currently leading eight ETF applications pending, closely followed by XRP, which has seven applications being examined.

These two digital assets represent the most sought-after cryptographic investments beyond Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
Bloomberg senior ETF Eric Balchunas previously reported on April 21 that 72 ETF linked to crypto were under the SEC at the time.
The current number of 92 represents an addition of 20 new applications over only four months.
Similarly, the current pipeline includes the proposals targeting not only the exposure to Solana and XRP, but also various other altcoins, supplemented by three ETFs linked to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The giants of the Grayscale and 21Shares industry are among the companies currently in the dry approval pipeline, both continuing the authorization for Ethereum Strike ETF.
The liquid milestone received some clarity earlier this month when the SEC indicated that these operations are not falling from its direct regulatory jurisdiction.
Grayscale works simultaneously to convert five existing trusts into ETF structures, in particular three funds listed on the stock market and two private trusts.
These conversions would provide ETF access to Litecoin, Solana, Dogecoin, XRP and Avalanche.
In a separate article, Seyffart highlighted the recent S-1 registration of 21Shares to the SEC for the SEI stock exchange funds.
According to the submission on Thursday, the 21Shares SEI ETF proposed would follow the reference rate CF sei-dollar in USD, if it were approved.
Opinion of experts on Crypto FNB flooding the market
Decisions awaiting the SEC have important implications for the markets of Altcoin, which is a main concern for traders and institutional investors.
Andrew Jacobson, vice-president and global manager of Legal at 21Shares, observed a change in market dynamics, declaring that while being “the first to deposit ETF was cool when he started in 2024”.
The objective has now turned to product innovation, in particular those that integrate the capacities of tradfi audiences.
Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst Eric Balchunas pointed out on the growth pipeline, suggesting that “very soon there will be more Crypto deposits than actions”.
Ray Youssef, CEO of noons, recently shared his expectations with Cryptonews according to which the main cryptocurrencies, such as Sol, XRP and BNB, will attract structured capital investments because of their established infrastructure and their real world adoption potential.
Youssef stressed that market development will promote projects with authentic utility, predicting that “only the strongest projects with real usefulness and value would survive the next market phase”.
While “the tokens focused on speculation without utility will begin to disappear in non-all in the coming months.”
With regard to Solana in particular, Youssef highlighted the significant impact potential for a launch of the ETF spot, noting that Solana treasure companies align funds reaching tens of billions to accumulate soil.
The current prediction markets reflect a strong optimism for approval prospects.
On the polymarket, the chances of Solana ETF approval before the end of 2025 increased to 99%, a substantial increase of 72% in May.

XRP maintains the second highest probability of approval at 87% on Polymarket, from 64% on August 6.
In particular, Dogecoin is the only speculative same same with favorable approval ratings, currently 82%, almost double the 44% that it was in June.
