Dominari Holdings, an investment company linked to Trump based in Trump Tower, announced on Tuesday the launch of a new advisory advice for cryptography to guide its expansion on digital assets.
The main dishes to remember:
- Dominari Holdings has formed a new Crypto Advisory Council, adding veteran leaders Sonny Singh and Tristan Chaudhry as members.
- The company linked to Trump plans to use the Board of Directors to generate acquisitions and partnerships in digital asset space.
- Dominari’s expansion in the crypto is based on its close ties to the Trump family and the investments in Bitcoin Ventures.
The board of directors will advise Dominari on acquisitions and partnerships in the space of digital assets and will operate alongside its wider advisory council, according to a press release.
Its inaugural members include Sonny Singh, a former Bitpay executive, and Tristan Chaudhry, a blockchain entrepreneur.
Former director of Bitpay Sonny Singh joins Dominari Crypto Board
Singh, which has been active in Crypto since 2012, has co-founded the Beluga education platform and previously helped Bitpay to secure the New York Bitligen, to launch the first cryptographic debit cards with Visa and Mastercard, and collect more than $ 70 million from Backers, including Founders Fund and Sir Richard Branson.
Chaudhry, a first investor in Litecoin and Dogecoin, has since developed several DEFI protocols, founded Heroes de Mavia in 2024 and currently built Polyester, a transversal decentralized exchange.
“We believe that the cryptographic ecosystem represents one of the most important long -term opportunities in global finance,” said Anthony Hayes, CEO of Dominari.
“Digital assets are no longer on the verge of finance – they move in the center. The expansion of Dominari in this space is aligned with our mission to identify transformative opportunities and introduce them into the dominant current for the shareholders and customers of Dominari. ”
The dominari pivot in crypto is the last chapter of a long transformation. Originally a biotechnology company called Spherix, later Aikido Pharma, the company abandoned years of research loss on drugs in 2021 and reinvented itself as an investment vehicle.
Hayes called on the veteran Kyle Wool banker, and the two moved operations to Trump Tower, working with the sons of Donald Trump, Eric and Don Jr.
Golf outings and proximity quickly turned into commercial partnerships. The two sons invested $ 1 million each in Dominari shares, becoming advisers and lending the credibility of the company.
This relationship opened doors to businesses, including American Bitcoin, a mining initiative and the IPO of a drone manufacturer related to Trump.
Dominari has since used Trump’s Pro-Crypto position to channel funds in Bitcoin companies, data centers and partnerships with figures like the founder of Tron Justin Sun.
The company also launched a Spac supported by the Trump family, aimed at raising $ 300 million.
Trump administration pushes the agenda pro-Crypto
The Trump administration has advanced its Pro-Crypto program with a series of political and regulatory movements.
President Trump has signed an executive decree urging regulators to remove obstacles that prevent plans 401 (K) from including alternative assets such as cryptocurrencies.
If implemented, reforms could allow millions of Americans to allocate retirement funds to Bitcoin and other digital assets thanks to regulated channels.
Trump also appointed economist Stephen Miran, a digital asset defender, to the Council of Governors of the Federal Reserve, signaling the continuity of the pro-Crypto position of his administration.
In a separate decree, Trump decided to end the “debannage” practices that target legitimate cryptography societies.
The blockchain association praised measures as a “historical change” which would expand the choice of consumers, would empower wealth creation and reduce operational obstacles for blockchain companies.
