Founded in 2016 by Adrián Garelik – film producer, screenwriter and co -founder of Rootstock (RSK) – The technology expert of the Blockchain Pablo Carbajo and the creator of Popcorn Time Federico Abad, Flixxo mixes blockchain technology with an organized catalog of independent stories, giving creators and the freedom to share their own conditions.

At a time when algorithms decide what to look at, which is seen and how much a story is, space for independent voices is shrinking. The creators’ economy has promised a more open playground, but most platforms still keep control and most income in their hands.

Flixxo was born in 2016 to return this script. Built from the first day as a decentralized streaming platform, he decided to give creators the freedom to tell the stories they really want to tell, while ensuring that they can gain their work without abandoning the rights or according to the opaque systems.

“Most platforms keep control and most income in their hands. We have built Flixxo so that the creators can finally have their work and their community, ”explains Adrián Garelik, co-founder of Flixxo.

A record, not just a promise

Flixxo is a platform with almost a work decade behind it, a community of more than 250,000 users and a vast catalog of more than 450 short films and microseries. Along the way, he produced and co -produced award -winning projects, supported emerging talents and established a partnership with festivals, laboratories and cultural spaces in the world.

World cinematographic markets such as Mipcom (Cannes, France) and Iberseries & Platino Industria (Madrid, Spain), in the main industry and innovation centers such as South by Southwest (Austin, USA), Concta Fiction (Toledo, Spain), Berlinale – Berlinale – European Film Market (Berlin, German) Fiction (Labitconf Bitcoin Conference) and Hack Mafiz (Málaga Filmaf (Labitconf Thing Bitcoin Conference) and Hack Mafiz (Málaga Filmaf) and the Bitcoin conference) and the Hallaga) and the Hack Mafiz) and the Labitconf film conference. Lab, Spain), Flixxo was present at the crossroads of narration and technology.

He hosted projections, launched audience prices, supervised by young creators and participated in panels on the future of streaming, financing of tokenized films and the role of communities in the formation of narration.

Tools that transform ideas into reality

At the heart of Flixxo’s mission, technology is designed to empower creators, not the other way around. Thanks to its wider ecosystem, filmmakers can collect funds directly from their audience, transform fans into donors and give life to projects that otherwise remain ideas on paper.

A remarkable example is Frecuencia Kirlian: The Movie, the long adaptation of the Argentine cult animated series which has once broadcast on Netflix and was later produced thanks to community funding in the Flixxo ecosystem.

By combining blockchain, video distribution and token savings, Flixxo creates a space where the public can directly support the creators, look without advertising or by choice and where each view is transparent and traceable.

Beyond technology, Flixxo is also a carefully organized space for high quality independent content. Its catalog is built with an editorial eye, selecting microseries and short films that bring new voices, daring stories and innovative formats.

Innovation in movies outings

The Flixxo platform incorporates token technology, which feeds new ways to present films. Thanks to its ticket 3.0 – a digital pass that unlocks exclusive projections – the platform hosted the release of Bull Run, “The world’s first film to launch with its own token”.

This step has shown how Flixxo technology can extend beyond the financing and distribution of distribution, giving the public unique access experiences while offering creators new models of monetization.

With this organized approach, the public does not just make endless catalogs scroll – they discover distinctive stories manufactured by filmmakers who shape the next chapter of audiovisual culture.

Web2 and web3 bridging

At the heart of Flixxo is its native token, Flixx, which feeds the creative economy of the platform. Unlike other blockchain projects, Flixxo is designed to be simple and accessible: anyone can use it without the need for priority of the crypto.

Recent partnerships with major telecommunications companies in Latin America have expanded access, allowing new audiences to take advantage and support independent content transparently – make Flixxo a real bridge between traditional streaming and web3 economy.

To feed this vision, Flixx is deployed on the basis, the Ethereum Layer-2 network supported by Coinbase. This choice ensures faster transactions, lower costs and greater scalability, while maintaining Ethereum safety. For users, this means a fluid experience; For creators, he opens the door to a world ecosystem to the test of the future.

A creative territory for the future of narration

Flixxo is called a “creative territory” because it aims to be more than a platform – a community. Thanks to the gamification, the awards and the events of the real world, it links the filmmakers, the audiences and the innovators of the industry in an ecosystem.

Whether it is a laboratory for emerging directors, a window of the festival or a decentralized funding campaign, the accent is always on the stories that matter for the people who say them and the people who watch them.

After almost ten years, Flixxo continues to grow with the same conviction: that the future of streaming belongs to creators and communities, not to algorithms. “The future of streaming will not be decided in conference rooms – it is already written by creators who dare to tell their stories,” explains co -founder Adrián Garelik.
