Crypto tax software provider Koinly has disclosed a potential email address leak following a security incident at a third-party service provider.
The problem originated with Mixpanel, an analytics service used by Koinly. In an email sent to users, the company said exposure appears limited to email addresses.
He confirmed that sensitive data such as wallets, transactions, tax returns and portfolio information was not shared with Mixpanel and remained secure on separate systems.
