A crypto expert has compiled a long list of developments and achievements that demonstrate growing momentum for XRP and Ripple. For market observers, this latest summary highlights the strong bullish fundamentals that support XRP, despite its poor recent price performance. Additionally, positive developments could present stronger and more compelling buying arguments for investors.
Major developments that strengthen the case for buying XRP
In an X article this week, crypto market analyst Iso Ledger common a detailed overview of XRP and Ripple’s Recent Milestoneshighlighting the asset’s strengths in regulation, finance and blockchain infrastructure. His remarks showcased XRP as an increasingly established digital asset, with growing relevance and adoption in global financial markets and the crypto space.
According to Iso Ledger, one of the most significant developments occurred on March 17, 2026, when the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) named XRP a digital commodity under joint guidance with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The designation officially confirmed that the altcoin was not a securitymarking a major regulatory development after more than seven years of legal debate around the asset.
The analyst also highlighted that Ripple received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for a trusted national bank charteras part of a group of 11 companies seeking federal banking licenses. On April 1, 2026, new OCC rules expanding the activities of trust banks took effect, bring Ripple closer to its fully operational state. Notably, the crypto company was listed alongside recognized digital finance companies including Circle, Fidelity Digital Assets, Paxos and BitGo.
Describing more positive developments, Iso Ledger cited Ripple Prime, formerly known as Hidden Road. Ripple acquisition and rebranding for $1.25 billion in 2025. Iso Ledger noted that Ripple Prime went live on March 2, 2026, describing it as a $3 trillion annual clearing platform now positioned within Wall Street’s post-trade infrastructure. He also pointed to a filing by Goldman Sachs that allegedly disclosed $153 million stake in XRPhighlighting the growing adoption of cryptocurrency among institutional investors.
In addition to these achievements, the analyst added that seven XRP Spot ETF are already operational, with combined assets under management (AUM) exceeding $1.5 billion. He noted that more than 771 million XRP was locked in these investment products, highlighting sustained institutional demand and a significant reduction in its circulating supply.

In his article, Iso Ledger also described several banking moves made by Ripple. He noted that Deutsche Bank now uses Ripple for cross-border payments and foreign exchange transactions. Additionally, Aviva Investors became the first European asset manager to tokenize funds on the XRP Ledger (XRPL)while the euro stablecoin Société Générale EURCV is now live on the ledger.
Additionally, Convera, a B2B financial technology company that manages more than $190 billion annually across 200 countries, uses Ripple’s network and stablecoin settlement. In Asia, Rakuten Wallet also added the altcoin, connecting it to 44 million users and 5 million traders. Additionally, Kyoto Life Insurance, a leading Korean insurer, has started tokenizing government bonds through Ripple Custody.
At the XRP Tokyo 2026 conference, speakers showed that cryptocurrency offerings up to 60% cost savings compared to SWIFT and adds 12 new currency pairs. Additionally, multinational banks such as BBVA, BNP Paribas and Citi currently support the SWIFT blockchain ledger and are Ripple Custody customers.
Iso Ledger also noted that Ripple had requested a Federal Reserve Main Accountand is expected in the second or third quarter of 2026. On the security side, the highly anticipated Proposal XLS-66d is currently being voted on by the validator on the ledger. If enabled, it could introduce native on-chain lending to the blockchain. The analyst notably highlights several additional developments, focusing on XRP’s transaction speed compared to SWIFT and other key milestones.
