Binance Wallet’s SpaceX IPO campaign attracted approximately $557 million in subscription funds, showing strong on-chain demand for token exposure to the planned listing.

Summary

  • Binance Wallet’s SpaceX IPO campaign generated approximately $557 million from 27,689 on-chain addresses, according to Dune data.
  • Small subscriptions dominated the number of addresses, but larger wallets provided most of the funds committed to the campaign.
  • The campaign provides tokenized exposure to SpaceX through SPCXx, but final allocations are not guaranteed.

Binance Wallet campaign brings in $557 million

Data from Dune showed that Binance Wallet’s SpaceX IPO subscription campaign attracted approximately $557 million from 27,689 addresses. The numbers show strong demand for SPCXx, a tokenized security product tied to SpaceX’s potential IPO.

The campaign allows eligible users to submit subscription requests via Binance Wallet. The product is linked to xStocks and gives users the option to receive tokenized SpaceX securities after issuance.

Binance listed 135 USDC as an indicative price per token, excluding fees. The campaign also has a 5% subscription fee and uses USDC as the supported subscription token.

The campaign does not promise a final allocation. “Submitting a subscription request only represents an expression of interest in subscribing and does not guarantee that the request will receive an allocation from SPCXx,” Binance said.

Large wallets provide most funds

Dune data showed that addresses contributing $20,000 or less accounted for 81.48% of participants. However, these small portfolios only accounted for 18.39% of the total subscription funds.

Addresses contributing more than $20,000 to $100,000 accounted for 16.69% of participants. This group provided 57.67% of the total funds, making it the largest source of capital for the campaign.

A smaller number of larger portfolios also played a clear role. In total, 114 addresses contributed $500,000 or more, representing 10.23% of the total funds.

The breakdown shows broad address participation, but capital remained concentrated among the largest subscribers. This model is common in high-demand tokenized offerings, where smaller users increase their stake numbers while larger wallets determine total funding.

SpaceX tokenized demand continues to rise

Binance said SPCXx is the first project in its portfolio IPO campaign. The company said the campaign aims to connect traditional capital markets with on-chain financial markets.

Users who receive final allocations will receive SPCXx tokens once the issuance is complete. Binance said the token is designed to provide exposure to price performance related to the SpaceX IPO.

The product does not represent direct ownership of SpaceX stock. Binance stated that holders do not benefit from voting rights, dividend rights or other shareholder rights associated with normal stock ownership.

As previously reported by crypto.news, Binance recently expanded its range of tokenized stocks while announcing a future SpaceX-related product. The exchange added tokenized products tied to Circle, Nvidia, Tesla, Micron, and Sandisk as demand for on-chain stock exposure grew.

SpaceX IPO draws attention from crypto market

The planned listing of SpaceX has become a major priority in the crypto markets. Traders have also used pre-IPO perpetual contracts and other tokenized products to gain price exposure ahead of a public listing.

SpaceX’s planned IPO has sparked strong investor demand, raising questions about whether the listing could draw capital from digital assets, as previously reported. The offering also spurred activity on crypto exchanges offering SpaceX-related products.

Binance Wallet subscription data adds another measure of this demand. This shows that tokenized IPO products attract both small portfolio participation and large capital commitments.

The next focus will be the final allocation, distribution of tokens and the amount of committed USDC converted into SPCXx tokens. Binance said the final offering price will be determined after the subscription period ends.
