Early this cycle, we saw a big meme coin pump pretty much everything ran, regardless of Bitcoin dominance. Meanwhile, most of the last cycle’s “utility” coins didn’t move much at all. People still talk about BTC dominance as a signal for when alts will take off, but does that still hold true?
Is it possible that market dynamics have shifted and that meme coins were the altcoin bull run for this cycle? Each cycle is different, and I’m interested to hear the sentiment around waiting for Btc dominance to fall as a signal that alt season has begun.
