Crypto expert Adam Livingston highlighted Bitcoin’s 4-year moving average, which provides insight into where the leading crypto is likely to reach its lowest point. this bear market. This comes as BTC extends its decline and is now at risk of falling to the February 2026 low of $60,000.

Expert Points to Bitcoin’s 4-Year Moving Average for Potential Bottom

In a MessageLivingston noted that Bitcoin’s 4-year moving average sits at $60,000 and Bitcoin is only 22.75% above that moving average. He further noted that historically, only about 18.5% of valid days had a lower spread. He added that about 81.5% of days were more expensive than the 4-year MA.

Basically, the crypto expert suggested that this 4-year moving average could mark the bottom for Bitcoin in this cycle. Livingston noted that buying BTC while it was in the same cheap percentile band relative to the 4-year MA would have turned every $10,000 deployed into around $56,600, compared to around $40,200 for a daily DCA during the same window. He added that BTC, at the current 4-year MA percentile, has always been a high-quality product. accumulation zone.

As such, Livingston suggested it might be wise to start accumulating Bitcoin within this range, with $60,000 likely to serve as a minimum. It’s worth noting that his comment comes as BTC appears poised to fall back to $60,000. The leading crypto has experienced a massive liquidation since the start of the week, rising from $71,000.

However, the crypto analyst Bluntz predicted that Bitcoin would fall below $60,000 following this drop. He alluded to BTC’s daily close, indicating that there was no way the leading crypto wouldn’t bring in $58,000.

BTC in a vulnerable position

In a Messagecrypto analyst Ali Martinez said that the breakdown below $72,000 put Bitcoin in a vulnerable position and that based on the MVRV price bandsthe next big area of support is between $54,000 and $50,000. As such, BTC is still at risk of falling to $50,000 during this market cycle.

In another MessageMartinez highlighted how Bitcoin is facing significant selling pressure with 54,000 BTC moving to exchanges over the past week. He noted that this increase in available supply increased short-term selling pressure, which pushed the price down to $60,000. BTC is also facing selling pressure from Bitcoin ETFswhich are currently experiencing a 13 consecutive day net outflow streak.

At the time of writing, the BTC price is trading at around $63,600, down more than 5% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
