With Ripple closing his long legal battle with the SEC, industry analysts predict that the resolution will make the main fund managers more comfortable to provide investment products related to XRP, a native active in Ripple.
Pro-XRP users, in particular, watched BlackRock, the active management giant. But it seems that BlackRock has no immediate plan to get on board.
A BlackRock spokesperson recently told the block that Spot XRP and Solana (floor) ETF are not on the company’s roadmap for the moment.
Confirmation intervened shortly after the president of the ETF store, Nate Geraci, suggested that BlackRock would finally enter the ETF XRP market while Ripple and the SEC conclude their calls.

Robert Mitchnick, responsible for digital assets for BlackRock, revealed during the Bitcoin 2024 convention that there is a “request” very little ” for the cryptographic ETF beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Samara Cohen, director of investment in investment at Blackrock, ETF and Index Investments, said in an interview with Bloomberg that the company would not launch an ETF Solana in the short term.
“We are really looking at the investor’s ability to see what meets the criteria, which meets the bar to deliver in an ETF,” said Cohen. “For us at the moment, the capacity (investment) considerations and also what we hear from our customers … Bitcoin and Ether definitively meet this bar. I think it will take a while before seeing something else. ”
