In addition to a strategic partner of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), announced its initiative to build a blockchain network “Make in Vietnam”.
On May 6, 2025, 1matrix officially launched its project before a large audience of government regulators, technological partners and national and international stakeholders. The initiative affirms the mission of 1matrix to develop the Blockchain network of Vietnam, aimed at allowing the country to master blockchain technology and establish a basis for significant progress in the digital age.
During the launching ceremony of 1matrix, Mr. Phan Duc Trung delivered a keys marking the start of a blockchain network in layer 1 of “Make in Vietnam”.
1Matrix aims to build fundamental and basic technologies from consensus algorithms and network security data mechanisms and user experience according to the inheritance of previous innovations in blockchain. It will be the first blockchain service network designed and operated by Vietnamese professionals, entirely in accordance with international interoperability standards.
“The complete control of blockchain and intellectual property technology will not only proactively apply technology in its economic, societal and future development, but also to strengthen national data sovereignty, ensure cybersecurity and improve the position of Vietnam on the world scene,” said Phan Duke Trung, the president of the 1matrix office and the president Vietnam blockchain.

BCG is one of the main world management consulting companies, known for working with governments and large companies in the fields of digital transformation, technology, innovation management and sustainable growth.
Lieutenant-General Dang Vu Son, former head of the Committee of Cipheur Government, underlined: “To really establish its name on the global card of digital technology, Vietnam needs more innovators, visionary companies like 1matrix and a technological ecosystem with depth and identity.”
During the event, the Committee Cipher Government, the Vietnam Blockchain Association and 1matrix jointly announced the launch of the “Vietchain Talents 2025” competition, with total prices amounting to 135,000 USD. The competition aims to identify, nourish and gradually develop a high -quality talent basin for the Vietnam Blockchain Technology sector.
