The postal service belonging to the State of Brazil, Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telegrafos, launched a process of preselection for companies and specialists in blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop solutions for its logistics and operational management.
The call for tenders, published in the official magazine of the Diário Official Da União country on Friday, requests proposals that support the digital transformation of the agency’s services. The initiative, called Licitação Seleção previa e diálogo nº 25000001/2025 CS, focuses on the search for advanced technological solutions to modernize the trade processes, operations and internal management of the offer.
“We want to promote a collaborative and dynamic process to find artificial intelligence solutions and blockchain for our companies, our operations and our job challenges,” said the company.
The organization did not specify the exact use cases it targets, but blockchain technology has been largely adopted for the monitoring of the supply chain, the authentication of documents and the safety of transactions. The use of artificial intelligence is probably linked to logistics optimization and an improved data analysis.
