Casper Just Released a Huge Roadmap for RWAs and the Machine Economy

Casper Network is making a big bet on the next step in blockchain. And these are not memecoins.

At the Digital Finance Forum in Bermuda, Casper Association President and CTO Michael Steuer unveiled the “Casper Manifest,” a multi-year roadmap focused on real-world regulated assets (RWA), AI-enabled payments, and infrastructure built for institutions and machines. The roadmap includes EVM compatibility, compliant private transactions, gasless UX, smart accounts, AI micropayments and even post-quantum signing. It’s a lot. But more important is what Casper is trying to become.

Casper wants to make blockchain invisible

Most blockchains still look like crypto products. Wallet popups, gas fees, and complicated onboarding remain major sticking points. Casper wants to change that.

The roadmap introduces gasless transactions, batch operations and smart accounts supporting biometric authentication. The idea is simple: blockchain applications should look like normal applications. One click and it’s done. Casper also adds full EVM compatibility. Developers will be able to use Solidity, MetaMask, and existing Ethereum tools directly on Casper without rewriting applications. This is important because Ethereum still has the largest developer ecosystem in crypto.

Privacy and compliance together?

Usually, blockchains choose a side. Either privacy or compliance. Casper says he wants both. The network plans to support security tokens compliant with the ERC-3643 standard, which already governs billions of tokenized assets. At the same time, it builds a confidential transactions infrastructure that allows auditors and regulators to verify compliance when needed.

This could become important as institutions move more towards tokenized assets and on-chain finance.

The roadmap also targets AI and machine-to-machine payments through support for the X402 payment standard. This would allow AI agents to automatically pay for APIs, data or computing resources using cryptocurrencies.

Casper thinks beyond the current crypto cycle

One of the most interesting elements of the roadmap is post-quantum security.

Casper plans to introduce hybrid accounts that support both traditional cryptography and quantum-resistant keys. No major smart contract platform has fully delivered this yet. The first deployment is expected within a few weeks with X402 micropayments. EVM compatibility and compliant security tokens are planned for later in 2026, while quantum privacy and security infrastructure will continue until 2027.

The real question is whether institutions and developers actually embrace it. But Casper is clearly positioning itself for a future where blockchains manage tokenized assets, AI payments and machine economies, not just speculation.
