Crypto Exchange Kraken adds a native bitcoin to mark out via the integration of Babylon

Crypto Exchange Kraken launched Bitcoin

Train new integration with Babylon, while decentralized finance on BTC resumes.

Babylon is a Bitcoin native protocol which allows BTC to secure the networks of evidence (POS) without leaving the blockchain.

The service allows Kraken users to directly mark their bitcoin, locking it in a guardian safe on the native chain. The marked bitcoin is then delegated to point of sale networks via Babylon, and the awards are paid for a baby, the Babylon Genesis token, a layer 1 secured by Bitcoin, said Kraken.

Bitcoin has historically been used as a reserve of value and means of exchange. The advent of new security sharing protocols has made BTC a third case of native use, Bitcoin Defi, for the largest cryptocurrency in the world.

The Bitcoin network “evolves towards a wider decentralized financial ecosystem with the emergence of Bitcoin Defi,” said Binance Research in a report in March.

Only ~ 0.8% of the Bitcoin supply is currently used in DEFI, which has a large “unexploited opportunity”, according to the report. Binance, Kraken’s competitive crypto exchange, also offers an opportunity for Bitcoin’s stake on its platform via Babylon.

“With this launch, customers can get a return to their BTC while allowing the blocks of emerging poster bodies to benefit from the economic weight of Bitcoin in order to validate transactions and strengthen the security of their networks,” said Kraken World Chef Mark Greenberg, in the press release.

The mechanism is entirely chain, with a stimulum governed by Bitcoin scripts and cryptographic guarantees to dissuade malicious behavior.

Users can resolve at any time, with approximately a period of non-discharge of 7 days.

The EXCHANGE Crypto introduced for the first time a dot of guard in 2019. The functionality of implementation of Bitcoin is now available on all Kraken platforms.
