Crypto influencer Ansem, real name Zion Thomas, has been banned from using Uber. The ride-hailing company cited its consistently low 4.2-star rating as the main reason. Ansem shared the ban notice on X, showing Uber’s message that his score had not improved despite prior warning.
What led to the ban?
At first, Ansem didn’t explain much, leaving people on X guessing. One user joked that he kept drivers waiting while his friends got ready. His response was, “It’s really not my fault.” » Later, on his Market Bubble podcast, he gave more details. He admitted “an accumulation of bad habits”.
He said: “I’m always late. Every time I call Uber we’re very loud. I have amazing people with me screaming in the back seat.” He also blamed the chaos of nightlife: leaving clubs or getting ready means everyone is slow, drinking and looking for friends. He ended with: “A 4.2 rating doesn’t just happen – I earned it. »
Uber Community Guidelines
Uber has clear rules for drivers and passengers. Violations may result in suspension. For example, open containers of alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted. The guidelines also emphasize respect: “Aggressive, confrontational or harassing behavior is not permitted. » Foul language and inappropriate actions can get you banned.
