A new report reveals that American users of geobloking Airdrops have denied billions of US dollars.

In a recent report, Dragonfly of the venture capital fund revealed that geobloquer policies have hampered crypto users from 2020-24. The report assigns the regulatory concerns of various projects to lack income of several billion dollars.

Loss of at least $ 1.8 billion

The disclosure is part of the state of the 2025 Airdrops following the analysis of 12 air props based on distinct Ethereum. The choice is ideal, given its popularity as a reward mechanic granting tokens to users of historic and current protocols.

Dragonfly revealed that 11 projects have deployed geobloquer restrictions that excluded American residents to receive tokens on the dozen large -scale troops analyzed. The company estimates that the Americans could not claim tokens worth $ 1.84 to $ 2.64 billion in these projects due to localization restrictions.

We miss the keys of keys

The dragonfly underlines that the understanding of the magnitude of the participation of the Americans and the financial impact of restrictive policies informs future regulatory decisions. Companies have reiterated their desire to quantify the implications of American residents of geobloquer policies on crypto Airdrops. This informs the basis of the evaluation of broader economic consequences of restrictive policies.

The scope of the report assesses the Air Ethereum internship in a significant way involving an APE APE Yacht Club-Affiliated, Affiliated, Affiliated, Affiliated, Ethereum Name Services (ENS), Eigenlayer (EIGEN) and Arbitrum (ARB). The venture capital company swimming that American users of the crypto have suffered heavy losses even from a relatively small sample.

A previous analysis of Coingecko from a larger air of air data comprising 21 projects illustrates more than $ 5.02 billion. The analysis has shown that although some users have deployed VPNs to overcome blocks, Coingecko has shown that many potential beneficiaries hardly return the actions of token.

Economic repercussions of geoblocking

The Coingecko report says that the economic repercussions of geoblocting have been deep. The substantial income losses extend beyond the prejudice to individual affirmations, because the wider financial landscape is greatly affected.

The dragonfly report illustrates that the broader economic landscape represents significant tax revenues and federal governments. The report uses individual tax rates to approximate that the loss of federal tax revenue could increase to $ 1.1 billion. Dragonfly shows that states have missed $ 284 million in tax revenue.

The dragonfly urges the rectification of the situation, suggesting that regulators work with the cryptographic industry to find solutions appropriate to airmen. The company calls the initiative as a strategic tool in terms of awareness and excitement for the project.

Dragonfly recommends aligning paratroopers with the tax statement of credit card reward. While the industry engages the congress, this will offer a secure wearing to the respective airprops and protocols previously published.

Case for regulatory clarity

The report recognizes recent developments where regulators are gradually working to resolve existing legal battles with crypto companies. The report highlights the move of American titles and the exchange (dry) to accusations and surveys overwhelmed against Uniswap, Opensea, Consensys and Coinbase. This coincides with the Pro-Crypto agenda of the administration of President Donald Trump.

It is not certain that the outstanding sketches take into account the Ardrops token, in particular with the law on the legislation on stables on baptized Genius Act, which is expected to vote on Thursday. Nevertheless, the revelations of enormous losses for individuals and tax authorities are monumental for the legislators to forget.

Dragonfly supports the quest for regulatory clarity and tailor -made managers to allow Americans to unlock the full potential of crypto parachutis without compromising the integrity of the market and users.

Embred such a regulatory modernization could feed a flourishing blockchain ecosystem. This could perfectly line up with the Trump administration’s goal of transforming the United States into world cryptography capital. In particular, the elimination of regulatory ambiguity will stimulate technological progress, competitiveness and economic growth.
