A pseudonymous crypto analyst has revealed that the Ethereum-Bitcoin pair has fallen back into a price region that once preceded the uptrend seen during Ethereum’s past cycle.
ETH/BTC Structure Reflects 2020 Chart Before Reversal
In a June 6 article
$ETH/BTC (1M) – This is where ETH woke up during the last cycle. 👀
In 2020, ETH/BTC reached its lowest level in this zone.
What followed was one of the strongest periods of ETH outperformance in history.

Crypflow reveals that recently the pair reached the same all-time low, particularly around the 0.02528 mark. Notably, this drop towards the key level marks months of Ethereum underperformance relative to BTC. In this scenario, we see the ETH/BTC price compressing at the top of the trend triangle.
As such, Crypflow explains that for the past pattern to repeat itself, there must be a definitive breakdown of this structure. If this happens, Ethereum price could see a rapid and significant influx of bullish momentum, as the breakout would signal that capital is once again turning to Ethereum. The fact that the risk/reward ratio looks very attractive in the current setup makes it all the more likely that the dip and breakout events of 2020 will recur.
Bitcoin Price at $60,000 Pivot Support: Is a Recovery Underway?
In a separate article on X, Crypflow highlights that Bitcoin price is currently testing one of its support zones that had previously cushioned weakness. The crypto expert lists the $60,000 price level as the critical zone, which served as the low for Bitcoin seen in February.
With the area being tested again, Crypflow suggests that the price of Bitcoin could be in the early stages of recovery. However, this is only within the limits of possibility, and so far $60,000 has not been lost. If $60,000 holds and a clear breakout is seen, one could say that the recovery effort has fully begun.
On the contrary, if the $60,000 zone does not hold, Crypflow explains that Bitcoin could see a sharp slowdown, with its next major target at $54,000. In this case, all hopes for a reversal should rest on the integrity of the $54,000 level.
At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price stands at $62,375, reflecting a growth of 2.45% over the past day. Ethereum is showing similar price growth, currently worth $1,610, up 2.52% in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap data.
