We are happy to announce that pcaversaccio (pc) has joined the board of directors of the Ethereum Foundation.
pc is a long-time contributor to the Ethereum ecosystem, co-founder and leader of SEAL 911, and was a member of the EF Forestry Society, which provides informal guidance to EF aimed at maintaining the core values of censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security.
pcaversaccio wrote The Ethereum Cypherpunk Manifestoa 2024 adaptation by Eric Hughes A Cypherpunk Manifesto applied to Ethereum, Ethereum Privacy: The Path to Self-Sovereignty (2025) and has helped advance security practices across the ecosystem through technical contributions and community advocacy.
Current board members now include Aya Miyaguchi (President), Vitalik Buterin (founder), Patrick Storchenegger (Swiss advisor) And pcaversaccio.
As outlined in EF’s mandate published earlier this year, the EF Board of Directors sets the vision and ensures that high-level strategies and management decisions are aligned with the Foundation’s values. The Board of Directors acts as a security council to protect the heart and soul of EF, as well as to ensure its compliance as a Swiss foundation.
pc is joining the board for an initial one-year term and on a voluntary basis, and we look forward to working together to help manage the long-term future of Ethereum.
