What is the main purpose of Fusaka upgrade?

Fusaka aims to stimulate Ethereum’s scalability and safety by allowing nodes to check the data without downloading the complete blockchain.

How does Fusaka have an impact on long-term growth of Ethereum?

By supporting the adoption of layer 2, the validation of distributed blocks and effective data management, Fusaka positions Ethereum for the expansion and innovation of the sustained network.

The co-founder of Ethereum (ETH), Vitalik Buterin, revealed details on the next Fusaka upgrade, promising a major jump in blockchain.

At the heart of the upgrade is Peerdas, a protocol that allows nodes to check the availability of data without downloading the complete blockchain.

According to Buterin, Fusaka recovers small pieces of data and uses the erasure coding to rebuild all the missing parts.

This method is designed to increase both efficiency and safety, establishing a new standard for evolving blockchain infrastructure.

He added,

“If more than 50% of the songs are available, the node can theoretically download these pieces and use the erasure coding to recover the rest.”

How will Fusaka upgrade change things?

Buterin explained that the initial implementation of Fusaka still requires complete block data in two cases.

These are during the initial broadcast and when a publisher provides only 50 to 100% of a reconstruction block.

He stressed that the system is not based on the honesty of a single knot; As long as a node acts properly, the network maintains a complete functionality.

Different nodes can perform these tasks for different blocks.

Future upgrades, including courier at the cells and the construction of distributed blocks, will fully distribute these responsibilities, eliminating dependence on any single node.

He added,

“This is all new technologies, and basic developers are wise to be super careful for tests, even after their work for years.”

Above all, Fusaka developers prudently increase the “blobs” to ensure the safety and stability of the network.

This approach allows L1 L2 and possible scaling with a higher flow without storing complete blockchain data.

A new era of evolutionary growth?

Buterin’s explanation came in response to the remarks of Hildebert Moulié de Dragonfly, who stressed that the Ethereum network had treated six Blobs per block for the first time on September 24.

This step was largely carried out by an increased activity of layer 2 projects such as the Coinbase base, Worldcoin, Soneium, Scroll, Shape, Light and Lineabuild.

Among these, Base and Worldcoin (WLD) lead the use of Blobspace, representing about two thirds of the total.

These developments suggest that Ethereum is entering a new growth phase, fueled by the growing adoption of layer 2, improving the data infrastructure and the accent on long -term scalability.

What could be more?

In addition, the recent basic peaks and the MEV ineffectiveness show that the use of the network increases and highlights the need for validators to optimize their strategies.

Meanwhile, Buterin accent On low -risk defective protocols, supports Ethereum financially while preserving community -focused projects like Lens, Farcaster, ENS and Privacy Protocols.

Therefore, finally, Ethereum continues to mature, evolving effectively while remaining a hub for innovation.
