GAMESTOP (GME) should join the growing list of listed companies adding bitcoin to their treasury bills, while the asset manager of billions of dollars T. Rowe Price calls it a “very good time” to buy cryptocurrency.
GameStop said in its report on the fourth quarter results that its board of directors unanimously approved the addition of Bitcoin to its treasure. The video game retailer plans to use part of its cash or future debt emissions to acquire stablescoins BTC and USD.

Gamestop’s cash reserves amounted to more than $ 4.77 billion on February 1, according to the report, against $ 921.7 million a year earlier.
In the days that followed that Cohen published the photo with Saylor, the CEO of Strive Asset Management, Matt Cole, urged Gamesop CEO in a letter to use some of the substantial reserves of the company to buy Bitcoin.

Gamely’s decision to add BTC to its treasure comes at a perfect time, according to the world director of T. Rowe Price technologies, Dominic Rizzo. Speaking during the exchange conference in Las Vegas, Rizzo said it was a good time to strengthen the exhibition to Bitcoin.
He made comparisons between the Bitcoin price and a usual goods, and shared his reflections on how investors should think about buying BTC now.

“Bitcoin himself exchanged very close to his average cost,” said Rizzo. “So, if you think about it as a traditional goods, it’s actually a great time to have an exhibition.”
Bitcoin is negotiated at $ 87,960 at 4 h 51 hne after earning 1.4% in the last 24 hours and 5.3% Coinmarketcap data.
