Hamster Kombat, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) known for its Telegram-based play-to-earn (P2E) game, has announced plans to develop a layer 2 blockchain.

Hamster Kombat, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) known for its Telegram-based play-to-earn (P2E) game, announced plans to develop a layer 2 blockchain on The Open Network (TON).

The move comes after a recent community vote, indicating strong support for the initiative among token holders.

The recently approved lLayer-2 solution aims to improve transaction speed and reduce costs, addressing platform scalability challenges. The move follows the successful approval of a previous proposal that includes a $1 million bounty pool, designed to encourage community engagement and participation.

The DAO has confirmed that Layer 2 blockchain development is already underway. Members will receive further details regarding the strategy and its implementation in the coming weeks.

The initiative is expected to position Hamster Kombat favorably in the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape, as it seeks to provide a solid technological foundation for its growing user base.

Layer 2 solutions are becoming increasingly popular across various blockchain platforms, with projects such as Kraken’s INK Protocol and Shiba Inu’s Shibarium leading the way. These solutions are considered vital for increasing network efficiency and attracting decentralized applications (DApps) and innovators.

The Hamster Kombat team highlighted that the new layer 2 infrastructure will significantly improve the user experience by providing more accessible and engaging gameplay options.
