Institutional investors just purchased a total of $619 million in Bitcoin and crypto assets in one week, according to a new update from CoinShares.
The outflows occurred despite significant outflows at the end of the week.
Crypto products saw inflows of $1.44 billion in the first three days, with $829 million withdrawn on Thursday and Friday amid market volatility linked to rising oil prices.
Bitcoin dominated gains with $521 million in inflows, while Ethereum attracted $88.5 million. Solana added $14.6 million. Smaller inflows were made to Uniswap and Chainlink, amounting to $1.4 million each.
XRP was the outlier, with $30.3 million in outflows.
Short-Bitcoin products also brought in $11.4 million, showing mixed opinions.
American investors were at the origin of these positive flows with $646 million in new money. Europe saw capital outflows of $23.8 million. Smaller capital outflows affected Asia and Canada.
CoinShares says the figures highlight investors’ resilience towards digital assets during geopolitical stress due to attacks on Iran and weak wage data.
