Introducing Kraken Prop: Trade with our money, not yours

This is the reality for most traders. You have the strategy, the discipline, the instincts. What you’re missing is $200,000 to invest. Until now.

Today we are launching Kraken Prop: a crypto prop trading program that gives qualified traders access to significant capital, with up to 90% of profits going directly to them.

What is prop trading?

Prop trading (short for proprietary trading) reverses the traditional model. Instead of risking your own funds, you trade with a company’s capital. You operate within defined risk limits. You keep your profits. We cover commercial losses. Your only financial risk is the appraisal fee.

This is a structure that has existed for a long time in traditional finance. Kraken Prop brings it to crypto.

Who is Kraken Prop for?

Kraken Prop is for any trader who believes their edge is greater than their bankroll. Whether you are an experienced crypto trader looking to scale without additional personal risk, or an aspiring trader ready to prove your strategy in a real-world environment, Kraken Prop gives you the infrastructure to do so.

How Kraken Prop Works

Getting started is simple:

Buy an assessment

Choose a portfolio size between $5,000 and $200,000 and purchase an valuation. You will trade in a simulated environment that reflects real market conditions, working towards a profit target while staying within set loss limits. There is no time limit, so you can trade at your own pace.

Get financing

Take the assessment and you will receive a funded portfolio containing up to $200,000 of our capital. No deposit required. Your appraisal fees are your only financial risk; we cover business losses from there.

Collect your profits

Once funded, keep 80% of your profits, or upgrade to 90% and keep even more. Withdraw your Kraken account at any time, with payments processed within 24 hours.

Why Kraken Prop is different

Many accessory programs come with strings attached. Kraken Prop does not.

There are no time limits on reviews, no consistency rules, no profit caps and no restrictions on trading strategy. You trade over 60 cryptocurrency pairs, including BTC and ETH, with up to 5x leverage, deep liquidity, and the full suite of advanced tools available on Kraken Pro. The environment you evaluate in is the same environment you trade in once funded.

Choose your wallet size

Kraken Prop offers six portfolio tiers, from $5,000 to $200,000, with review fees starting at $20. Please note that all assessment fees are non-refundable. Each plan comes with clearly defined profit targets and risk limits, so you always know exactly what you’re working towards.

Ready to trade bigger? Visit the Kraken Prop page to choose your wallet size and start your evaluation.

This is an unregulated service. This assessment program is intentionally rigorous and designed to verify a trader’s risk management skills and strategic discipline before exclusive capital is allocated by Payward Oceanic Ltd. (POL). Most candidates do not pass the first time and there is no guarantee that your performance will improve or that you will succeed on future assessments. If you successfully complete the evaluation phase and become a Funded Trader (“FT”) with POL, all market-related transactions, if any, are carried out exclusively by POL, for POL’s main account and at its sole discretion. POL has the discretion to determine which type of order (A or B-book) it will apply. FTs do not own any accounts or trading positions and hold no beneficial or exclusive interest in POL’s accounts, assets or transactions. Prospective traders should only purchase an assessment if they are confident in their trading abilities and knowingly accept the risk of not qualifying for a funded account. The assessment fee is non-refundable for each attempt once trading begins, regardless of the outcome.
