I don’t know much about staking so I asked a decently knowledgeable friend about his thoughts on staking, and his response was the yield isn’t worthwhile and there’s counterparty risk involved with locking tokens away (ie it can be lost and unretrievable in certain circumstances).
My question is – are there crypto that is actually worth staking? I would like to make a move in the next bear market and don’t mind holding long-term. I’ve done some preliminary research and there are some interesting and attractive yields but I can’t get over the risk of it not being there after locking them up for that long.
