Istanbul Blockchain Week 2025, which was held from June 26 to 27 at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti hotel, marked its fourth and larger edition, bringing together thousands of world web3 leaders for high -level discussions, major announcements and networks. The event, organized by EAK Digital, presented Türkiye’s growing role in blockchain innovation.
The two -day event presented a variety of sessions, including opening speeches, round tables, round tables and workshops. The covered subjects range from stablecoins and active active world to exchanges, investments, AI agents, games and regulations. Justin Sun has described the world leadership of Tron in Stablecoin infrastructure and major developments in compliance, institutional partnerships and the adoption of the real world, in particular in Türkiye. Mehmet çamır highlighted the growing importance of the regulation on emerging markets like Türkiye, where there are around 14 million details of detail investing in cryptocurrencies. Ali İhsan Güngör, executive vice-president of the Türkiye capital markets of the capital markets, has announced a next E-Investor platform integrated into the Central Register Agency, allowing investors to question their assets in cryptocurrency in several regulated establishments via an e-lock. He also said that NFTs are outside the scope of capital market regulations and must be offered on a separate market.
Christian Thompson, Director General of the SUP Foundation, announced a training camp effort to educate 2,000 to 4,000 developers in Türkiye in the next 12 to 18 months. John Linden, CEO of Mythical Games, praised the potential of the Turkish market in games and high energy and the organization of the week of Istanbul Blockchain. Kostas Chalkias, co-founder and chief cryptographer at Mysten Labs, presented new use cases at the intersection of AI and Blockchain, such as disinformation detection and intelligent contract audit fueled by AI. Daniele Sestagalli presented Heyanon, an AI agent for Defi Automation, and his sales assistant fed by AI, Hud.
Defaicon Istanbul explored the convergence of DEFI and ATS agents of AI, with discussions carried out by industry experts. The Blockdown Festival, the first festival led by AI agents in the world, included interactive elements of AI, presented the web3 culture and included world class DJs. Dealflow Den, the flagship investment event, attracted high-level venture capital companies and selected startups for exclusive pitch sessions and networking opportunities. The Rwa Builders summit examined key subjects such as intellectual property, tokenized gold and precious metals, and real estate, revealing a clear direction for RWAS to unlock unprecedented liquidity and to widen access to investors.
