It’s a Black Friday of sorts in the crypto market, with extreme selling on some names after Trump announced an additional 10% tariff on Chinese exports late in the day.
Bitcoin is down 6% on the day at $113,700, but much bigger moves are happening in smaller names, starting with Ethereum’s 11.5% drop and rising to 14% for Ripple and Solana as well as 21% for dogecoin, 21% for cardano and 40% for fartcoin. Virtually no coin was untouched, with virtually every altcoin outside of the top 10 down 20-30%, and this was after a significant recovery from the lows.
