Mercari, one of the largest players in Japan electronic commerce, has launched XRP trading functions on its Mercoin Crypto Exchange application.
In a Mercari press release, the company explained that customers can use their Mercari account sales (MERPAY) or Mercari points to buy Altcoin, as well as direct banking transfer services.

Development occurs a little less than a year after the company has added Ethereum (ETH) negotiation functions to its crypto application.
Mercoin launched his Bitcoin trading service (BTC) in March 2023.
In December of last year, the company said that more than 3 million people now used its cryptographic trading services.
He also said that he had recorded the greatest number of new crypto portfolio openings in the national crypto exchange industry.
The company said it added XRP to its platform on April 24 and said customers can open a portfolio with a minimum deposit of 1 Yen ($ 0.007).
Mercari added that around 90% of Mercoin users say they are for the first time cryptographic investors.
The company has also teased the next events on the theme of XRP. In the press release, the company wrote:
“In the future, we plan to consider a range of events and campaigns related to XRP. We will work to make XRP a more familiar cryptocurrency in Japan. ”
Mercoin: Incitations and events planned
In July of last year, Mercoin launched an “invitation campaign” to promote his Bitcoin trading services.
