Blockchain validators ingest transactions and build blocks, the most essential process in the functioning of a blockchain. Most networks have a single validator client. Solana’s plan to have two entirely independent validators—one from a Solana spinoff team, Anza, the other from Jump—would give it a redundancy gain and potentially a performance advantage.
