TRON DAO, the community-run DAO dedicated to accelerating Internet decentralization through blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps), is proud to serve as an ongoing sponsor of CoinDesk’s Hong Kong Consensus 2026 and showcased leadership in AI and Stablecoin infrastructure. Justin Sun, founder of TRON, also gave a speech at Consensus and participated in a fireside chat at Cointelegraph’s Longitude, where he spoke about resilient blockchain infrastructure and the growing convergence of artificial intelligence and decentralized networks.
Consensus Hong Kong, one of Asia’s largest digital asset conferences, brought together leaders from the fields of blockchain, digital finance and emerging technologies. Throughout the conference, TRON DAO hosted a networking lounge that served as a hub for ecosystem partners, developers, and community members.
Justin Sun headlines with his vision for AI and infrastructure
Justin Sun delivered a keynote speech on the main stage titled “Building Resilient Blockchain Infrastructure for a Changing World.” His speech highlighted TRON’s strategic priorities, including scalability, security and operational sustainability amid rapidly changing market dynamics. During the keynote, Sun introduced AINFT, a new initiative designed to give users access to leading AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, with securely managed on-chain payments and access. By integrating advanced AI capabilities with blockchain-based financial rails, TRON aims to position itself at the forefront of AI-native commerce and agent-driven economies.
“As AI continues to grow, it will need reliable financial infrastructure. That means stable liquidity, fast settlement, and networks that operate globally, 24 hours a day,” Sun said. “Blockchain infrastructure like TRON is designed to support this type of environment.”
Sun also attended Cointelegraph’s invitation-only Longitude Hong Kong forum at the Four Seasons Hotel. The event brought together industry leaders to discuss regulatory developments, institutional integration and the convergence of traditional finance with decentralized ecosystems. In a fireside chat with Cointelegraph journalist Ciaran Lyons, Sun highlighted blockchain’s emerging role in machine-driven transactions and AI-native systems.
“AI agents that interact with blockchain will need identity, establishment and coordination. This area is still early and underexplored,” Sun said. “TRON can be used for various use cases, and I hope to see a more diverse ecosystem in the near future.”
He further highlighted the expansion of TRON’s developer ecosystem, emphasizing that builders are moving toward networks that demonstrate reliability, sustained user activity, and significant transaction throughput. The discussion ended with a discussion of his recent Blue Origin spaceflight. Sun described this experience as a defining moment that reinforced his belief in advancing cutting-edge technologies. He reiterated his commitment to expanding access to space and supporting long-term innovation.
Meanwhile, TRON DAO community spokesperson Sam Elfarra contributed to the “Public Chains Are Now Infrastructure” panel at the Hack Seasons Stage at the Hopewell Hotel. Alongside Igor Lessio, CEO of AIFlow Labs; Steven Goldfeder, co-founder and CEO of Offchain Labs; and Alex Gluchowski, co-founder of ZKsync and CEO of Matter Labs, the panel explored the evolution of public blockchains into fundamental financial infrastructure.
Elfarra also participated in several key side events. He joined the Stablecoin Odyssey 2026 panel, “Sources of Return and Risk Limits in DeFi and CeDeFi,” discussing sustainability and risks in decentralized and centralized financial models alongside “Tim,” Head of APAC at Spark; Gary Yang, incubator investor at CICADA Finance; Evie Yan, head of partnerships at the Kaspa Foundation; and Dr. Mark Richardson, Project Manager at Bancor.
Elfarra also spoke at Mr. Block Hong Kong, a parallel Consensus conference, titled “Navigating the TRON Ecosystem and Broader Payments Landscape.” His presentation highlighted TRON’s role in stablecoin settlement and global payment infrastructure.
Through keynote presentations, AI-driven dialogue, and targeted industry forums, TRON DAO strengthened its position at the Hong Kong Consensus 2026 as a global leader in blockchain infrastructure and real-world adoption.
