Kyrgyzstan plans to transform all government services to Blockchain technology by 2028, according to Alybek Kasymaliev, president of the cabinet of ministers.
The Central Asian Nation has positioned itself as regional cryptography chief with more than 120 virtual asset service providers in September 2024. Kirghizstan advanced legislation in September 2025 to create legal frameworks for staboins and public exploitation.
The country’s digital strategy includes real assets in tokenization and establishing a state cryptography reserve thanks to the mining of the government. Kyrgyzstan has also developed USDKG, a stablecoin to support gold designed to ensure financial security and transparency.
The country’s approach includes license exchanges and the construction of digital infrastructure, creating foundations at the institutional level which contrast with the adoption of unequal retail elsewhere in Central Asia.
