Lava Network and Fireblocks partner to set a new standard in blockchain reliability

Lava Network, a blockchain infrastructure provider known for its high-availability access to core blockchain data, announced on Monday a collaboration with Fireblocks, a leading digital assets platform serving thousands of institutional clients, including banks.

Fireblocks has integrated Smart Router — a product developed by Magma Devs — on top of Lava’s open source platform to provide secure remote procedure call (RPC) access across multiple blockchain networks without downtime or service interruption. The solution has been in production since the beginning of 2025 and supports the activity of more than 2,000 institutional clients.

The integration comes at a time when reliable access to blockchain is increasingly critical. In 2025, major centralized servers and cloud services, including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Cloudflare, experienced outages that highlighted the need for always-on blockchain infrastructure.

Fireblocks supports over 100 blockchain networks and provides institutional clients with reliable access to blockchain data to send transactions, query wallet history, and execute trades. RPC infrastructure underpins all blockchain interactions, and even modest improvements in availability can have a significant impact on transaction volume, user trust, and overall performance.

To meet the growing demand for access to highly available multi-chain data, Fireblocks adopted Lava’s Smart Router, which aggregates multiple RPC data providers and automatically routes requests to the fastest, most reliable source without replacing existing infrastructure. The Smart Router includes built-in failover, error recovery, dual caching, and analytics and monitoring tools, helping Fireblocks set a new industry standard for high-speed cross-chain trading.

Yair Cleper, founder of Magma Devs and one of the architects of Lava’s infrastructure, said the partnership validates the original vision behind the technology.
