Key notes
- DEFI TVL exceeded the $ 160 billion mark.
- Lido and Aave lead the race with their TVL in New Aths.
- Key indicators show that the Alts-season may have already started. .
Most of the main decentralized finance protocols recorded notable gains during the last month, while strong retail and institutional interests entered the cryptography market.
The total locked value has reached more than $ 161 billion for the first time since early April 2021, according to Defilma data. Ethereum is, as usual, heads with its 97.6 billion TVL dollars, followed by $ 11.4 billion in Solana.
The greatest winners?
The Lido liquid ignition protocol and the AAVE loan platform. Lido has increased from $ 30 billion to $ 42.5 billion in the past three weeks because it has dethroned Aave to become the main DEFI platform. The loan protocol is not far behind with a gain of approximately $ 9 billion, reaching $ 41.1 billion, within the same period.
This influx of liquidity in the main challenge protocols means that investors are more confident in risk assets beyond the simple bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
Historically, when ETH and Blue Chip Defi protocols first attract liquidity, the next wave often pours into smaller altcoins – especially those related to DEFI, Jalititude or new stories.
The current downside to the market scale suggests a local background, because the feeling remains above neutral despite sales. In addition, current macro uncertainty has also acted as a negative catalyst.
Coinmarketcap data show that the domination of Bitcoin has constantly decreased since early July and has just reached 57% for the first time since January. Ethereum et altcoins with low capitalization, on the other hand, saw an increase in the same period.
As soon as clarity around the drops in the American FED rate and geopolitical tension emerges, risk assets will likely see a significant increase.
