After nearly three months of fundraising, PlayDoge ($DOGE) is entering the final six days of its pre-sale as its new play-to-earn (P2E) game is ready to launch.
On August 16, the project announced that its pre-sale would end on August 26 at 10:00 UTC, due to the game’s development progressing faster than initially planned.
The game, a crypto variant of Tamagotchi that will soon debut on Google Play and Apple’s App Store, has attracted more than $6 million in seed funding.

After revealing alpha footage of PlayDoge’s mobile game, the project has released additional gameplay clips on X.
One of the new clips shows the feeding time of the virtual pet Shiba Inu, where players must carefully choose the right food to keep their pet healthy. As with Tamagotchis, regular feeding is essential to prevent the pet from getting sick and dying.

Another part of the game focuses on grooming, where users must give their virtual pet a shower. This mechanic is again reminiscent of Tamagotchi, where keeping your pet clean and its room free of waste helps prevent it from getting sick.
Cleanliness also increases the pet’s happiness, which is necessary for it to live longer.

All these gameplay clips show that PlayDoge is ready to be played on everyone’s mobile devices.
