The financial service company, Robinhood (Hood), has deployed an expansion of its crypto and investment services, offering European users access to tokenized American actions and giving Americans the possibility of gaining rewards by punctuating cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH-USD) and Solana (Sol-USD).

This decision marks a central moment for the company Fintech as it seeks to merge the rapidly evolving world of blockchain with traditional finance.
Addressing Yahoo Finance Future Focus, Robinhood Crypto Vice-President and Managing Director, Managing Director, Johann Kerbrat
At the heart of Robinhood’s European expansion is the launch of token American actions and ETFs, the digital representations of the real actions published on the blockchain.
These “shades of shares” allow users of 31 European countries to exchange more than 200 American actions and ETF, including heavy goods vehicles like Apple (AAPP), Microsoft (MSFT) and Tesla (TSLA), without paying commission or distribution fees. Robinhood applies exchange fees of 0.10%.
“Right now, what we are launching in Europe is that the EU client will have access to more than 200 American actions and ETF tokens, and the action token will also be able to receive dividends directly in their application,” said Kerbrat.
This means that European users can be exposed to the American market, which can be expensive due to regulatory obstacles and exchange costs, while also receiving dividend payments such as traditional shareholders.

Although token actions are synthetic representations supported by financial instruments, the user experience is almost indistinguishable in the negotiation of traditional actions. “It is less a question of negotiating a cryptographic product. It is more a question of using the advantages of the crypto to obtain the improvement,” said Kerbrat.
The tokenization, converting active active ingredients into digital tokens that live on a blockchain, has been hailed as one of the most promising innovations in crypto. The CEO of BlackRock (BLK), Larry Fink, recently called it “Next Generation for Markets”.
For Robinhood, tokenizing stocks does not only concern technological media threw, these are efficiency gains.
“We have expressed ourselves that we think that the traditional financing system is a little outdated, and does not correspond to the way people now use products,” said Kerbrat. “We believe that the blockchain will actually improve the efficiency, will reduce the time to wait, will reduce customer costs and costs.”

The advantages? The lower costs, faster settlement times and, possibly, the negotiation potential 24/7. “You can imagine a world where people can be in police custody, they can exchange them on Defi, 24/7,” said Kerbrat. “So, I think that for us, it’s a key moment in the financial system, and we can really build in addition to that.”
To support this new tokenized financial world, Robinhood builds its own layer 2 blockchain, powered by Ethereum and based on the arbitrum battery.
Layer 2 blockchains are built above existing blockchain networks like Ethereum to increase speed and scalability while reducing transaction costs.
Robinhood’s internal chain will eventually become the infrastructure behind its tokest storage platform, allowing features such as 24/7 trading, transparent pontage of assets and self-cire for users.
“We are already delighted to build our own Robinhood Two Blockchain layer. It will be built above Ethereum using the arbitrum battery,” said Kerbrat. “We want the blockchain to be optimized for active worlds tokenized, you know, for taking care of 24/7 trading, bridging, self -care, all the things that really matter for customers.”
While European users have access to tokenized actions and future cryptographic perpetuals, American users are now offered something denying for a long time – cryptographic development. Starting with Ethereum and Solana, American customers can now pay their assets directly in the Robinhood application.
The staging allows users to contribute to the safety of blockchain networks in exchange for winning awards, a bit like an interest in locking your crypto.
“So really, what it means to mark out is that you contribute to the network, not only to exchange assets, but also to help secure the network, and all the assets that are dotted are used to validate the transaction,” said Kerbrat.
“When the customer punctuates his assets, he will be able to see the estimated reward directly during the period. And on a regular basis, he will receive a new reward, and they will be able to decide to invest with it, or simply to access them again.”
This decision comes as discussions warm up on the fact that Ethereum stribe should be authorized in punctual ETFs. While regulators debate, Robinhood already deploys an exploitation in a friendly interface designed to demystify the process.
Robinhood also offers perpetual crypto future to EU users, a first for the company. This new feature allows experienced traders to make larger bets on the price of cryptocurrencies using the lever effect, which means that they can exchange with more money than they really have.
These professions are managed via Bitstamp exchange, but Robinhood has designed a friendly interface to make things like lever and risk easier to manage.

Kerbrat pointed out that despite the complexity of the blockchain behind the scenes, the interface remains clean and accessible for token actions and traditionally negotiated actions.
“When you are going to use the application, if you are a New York user or an EU user, it will be really similar, except that on the European application, he will tell you at the top that it is a token, and if you press it,” said Kerbrat on the differences, but the real trading experience will be really similar, “said Kerbrat.
