Tomas’ inspiring learning journey

What 101 Blockchains course/certification(s) have you taken?

What made you choose 101 Blockchains and how would you describe your learning experience?

I selected 101 Blockchains due to the nature of my work, which involved high risks and focused on strict regulations. I was looking for a platform that could allow me to gain enterprise-level blockchain knowledge. 101 Blockchains’ training courses and certification programs offered exactly the same thing, with insights into blockchain architecture, governance, security, and real-world use cases. I have used learning outcomes from their programs to implement blockchain concepts as an advisor and consultant to financial institutions and in cross-border projects.

What skills have you learned from 101 Blockchains that you believe are the most valuable?

I was able to understand enterprise blockchain architecture, relevant security models, and trust frameworks with the help of 101 Blockchains. The platform offers comprehensive lessons on the differences between public and permissioned blockchains. I also learned how to identify the difference between hot and cold wallets, followed by best practices in designing smart contracts and choosing governance structures for blockchain systems.

The learning outcomes have helped me in my work in Europe and the Middle East, where I participated in critical consulting roles and evaluation of blockchain projects. I used my skills to actively contribute to the analysis of blockchain design options, risk appetite and risk implications. I also evaluated operational controls and provided recommendations to stakeholders through senior management.

At 101 Blockchains, you don’t just get certifications, you learn real-world skills that make you a confident blockchain professional.

What impact has this program had on your professional career?

The 101 Blockchains program helped me gain an in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of blockchain and its risks. I also learned about the business and regulatory implications of blockchain technology. The skills I learned through the program have helped me guide clients as a consultant on how to choose blockchain architectures and design smart contracts. I might also consult with customers to help them identify the ideal custody and security models for their use cases. My knowledge has now made me a trusted advisor in translating emerging technologies into business-centric, compliant and scalable solutions.

What would you say to someone interested in careers in blockchain?

You should trust the potential of blockchain technology to transform digital infrastructures rather than following it as a trend. You will find the most attractive career opportunities in blockchain in highly regulated industries, such as finance, payments, and cybersecurity. Business systems that require alignment between blockchain and security, compliance, and governance provide the best opportunities for a career in blockchain. Learners should pay attention to blockchain architecture, its business value, and its implications for risk management.

From learners to leaders, discover the success stories of over 100,000 professionals with 101 Blockchains.

What would you tell other learners about 101 Blockchains?

Any learner wanting to gain a comprehensive understanding of enterprise-level blockchain implementation should choose 101 Blockchains. The platform prepares you with the skills needed to use blockchain skills in consulting, risk management, consulting, and product management roles. The certifications offered by 101 Blockchains will equip you with practical skills that you can implement in real-world business environments.
