Tether announced on February 11 The Legacy Mesh, a system designed to connect USDT0 and existing USDT deployments on several blockchain networks.

Integration extends over Tron, Ton, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Ink and Berachain, creating a unified framework for the interoperability of stablescoin.

The inherited mesh provides connectivity for chains where the USDT is already established, allowing the transparent movement of liquidity. Arbitrum serves as a hub chain, connecting USDT and USDT0 networks.

Tether and Layerzero announced the USDT0 on January 16, a multi -hole version of USDT powered by the Omnichain (OFT) token standard. Oft allows transverse liquidity without intermediate bridges or wrapped assets using a decentralized network of oracles and relays.

Multichain without bridges

The solutions of the existing transversal USDT are currently based on third -party bridges, leading to liquidity fragmentation and a complex management of tokens.

According to the ad, Arbitrum allows native USDT0 interoperability, allowing users to effectively access liquidity pools. The inherited mesh also improves the depth of the DEFI protocol, positioning the arbitrum as a liquidity center for stablecoin transfers.

Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, said:

“The inherited network brings together USDT 138 billion, making it crucial progress towards a unified dollar system. It simplifies the liquidity movement from channels such as Tron and Ethereum in ecosystems like tone and USDT0 networks in an entirely without authorization and self -sufficient. »»

The inherited network uses Ethereum, Tron and Ton liquidity pools, facilitating profitable and secure transfers via Layerzero messaging. It connects USDT deployments to the largest USDT0 deployment on arbitrum, bringing together 98% of all USDs in a unified system.

Transfers in the inherited mesh and the arbitrum are live. Multihop transfers of mesh channels inherited from USDT0 networks outside the arbitrum, including ink and Berachain, are planned.

While liquidity moves quickly through several decentralized ecosystems, the USDT must have a seamless multi-channel alternative to remain the market leader of Stablescoin.
