Speaking during the TOKEN2049 event in Dubai, Changpeng Zhao overthrew tea on cryptography regulations and the establishment of national crypto reserves via his new love found for advice.
During a large -scale fireplace conversation with Raoul Pal at the Token2049 conference in Dubai, which was held on April 30, CZ gave advice on countries in search of advice on the processing of crypto. He also reiterated his call for the creation of AI agents with real utility and said that the crypto would become the essential currency of the economy focused on AI.
According to CZ, the countries which were approaching him generally want to keep the localized cryptographic infrastructure, portfolios to the custody and the control books. However, CZ says that this is not optimal because the implementation of secure childcare solutions to manage billions of dollars “requires a lot of funds and expertise, which is lacking”.
CZ explained that the establishment of solutions located for each country is not practical. “For each cold wallet, you need around 15 signatories,” he said. “You cannot find 15 signatories who are not public, who are extremely worthy of confidence in different parts of the world, in different geographies. They are not encouraged by more money. They have stable work, they are high, they have a beautiful family. You just can’t find a hundred times more of these 15 people.”
The same goes for control books, exchanges and other nodes in the cryptographic ecosystem.
“If you divide each country with its own order book, liquidity will suck,” reiterated CZ. During extreme volatility, localized exchanges, portfolios or control books can see even more wild oscillations since many will invariably manage less volume.
CZ also talked about countries exploring the crypto as part of their strategic reserves, highlighting Bhutan as an out -of -competition example. Bhutan, led by a avant-garde king, has a excess of clean energy and used it to exploit Bitcoin, making the country an early and intelligent adopter of crypto for national wealth and sustainability.
As for countries that have not yet jumped on the Crypto reserve train, CZ said they should act earlier, because they may have to buy at much higher prices later. He recommends that governments starting with modest allowances use professional childcare solutions and go to more secure cold storage as a plane scale.
Another point to hold from the CZ conference was its call to redirect attention to build AI agents with real uses rather than flooding the market with useless AI tokens, a feeling that it has expressed in the past.
“Today, there are so many different AI agents with a token, but the agents have no real use,” he said. “I want to see real agents who can really help you – with tokens that serve a goal.” He criticized the climb of token AI cobblestones that allow anyone to hit an AI agent on a token by clicking on a button. “This token is useless-99.99% of them are useless,” he said.
However, CZ believes that “everything will change”, with AI about to radically transform the way people engage with the blockchain ecosystem thus resulting in the adoption of cryptography. “AI currency is the crypto,” he said, arguing that traditional payment methods will not work in the EA economy. “The AI will not slide a card or get an SMS code. It doesn’t work for AI. It will be crypto.”
