The developer of Polaris Office software has become the last major South Korean company to climb aboard the Krw-Pegged Stablecoin train.
Dozens of notable banks, fintech companies and IT companies have already registered trade brands for Korean Stablecoin projects this month while Seoul is preparing to deploy regulations.
And by MTN News, the Polaris office has now followed suit by applying for brands for a room called Polakrw.
Polaris Office: another company joins the craze for Stablecoin
The company is especially famous for its eponymous suite of office software.
Polaris filed a total of 102 cases with his brand request to the Korean Intellectual Property Office.

These include “three main product categories,” said MTN. The first concerns “programs related to computer software and linked to crypto-tassets”.
The second covers “Electronic Finance, Payment Agency and CryptoASSET Brokerage Services”. And a third category concerns “technological services based on blockchain and software development”.
Polaris is no stranger to the cryptographic scene. He has already launched a cryptoasset named Polaris Share (Pola), which she operates via her subsidiary Polaris Share Tech.

The token is listed on crypto exchange platforms like Bithumb. POLA operators have also recently launched a USD swap swap pool against Paypal stablecoin Pyusd. The media cited a spokesperson for the Polaris Office saying:
“Stablecoins are the starting point for the web3 transition. They are part of a digital infrastructure that connects data, payments and contracts. In the future, we will create a range of new markets, as well as a Polakrw knowledge sharing platform. ”
More South Korean banks are launching
Busan Ilbo, on the other hand, said that the BNK Financial Group also asked for 25 brands of Stablecoin.
BNK is the operator of Busan Bank, who joined the Stablecoin division at Open Blockchain / Did Association (OBDIA) earlier this month.
The BNK brand package includes 10 stable trade brands for Busan Bank and four for its other regional banking arm, Gyeongnam Bank.
Obdia members have spoken of temporary plans to create a platform for the stabing emission.
President Lee Jae-Myung, who swept power at the beginning of last month, wishes to adopt a range of laws related to the reserve of stables via the National Assembly in the coming weeks.
