Laboratories of the Blockchain Foundation Ethereum and Wanxiang are delighted to announce jointly the Blockchain International Week in Shanghai, which will take place in Hyatt on the BundSeptember 19-24, 2016. The World Blockchain Summit in Devcon and Wanxiang Blockchain Labs d’Ethereum was sold last year with great interest and anticipation for this year’s events. Now people who wish to attend the two events can do so during the same week.
The combined event has a unique format with three segments that allows people to attend any combination of days that best meet their needs. Two new features include a day of demonstration (by Blockchain Labs) for startups and investors, and an optional day of tourist visits organized on September 18, 2016, the day before the start of events of the week. There are many reasons why this combined event can be one of the most anticipated events in industry to date. Above all, the format and versatility of the event will allow greater interaction and opportunities for participants to communicate, meet and participate in event segments. The developers already plan to attend or participate in sessions in other segments, and the industry leaders involved in blockchain technology plan to attend certain DEVCON days as they have done in the past.

Devcon2: days 1-3 – 19, 20, September 21
Devcon2 d’Ethereum will start in Asia with the support of his co-host and event partner, Wanxiang Blockchain Labs. DEVCON2 will continue to present Ethereum developers who will introduce, present and discuss the latest works and related considerations and subjects of interest in the research and development of Ethereum.
Demonstration Day: Day 4 – September 22
Co-organized by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and Chainb, one of the main press agencies in the Chinese blockchain, Demo Day will include presentations by some of the most accomplished blockchain companies in the world. This event will be particularly interesting for investors, venture capital companies and start-ups.
Second World Blockchain Summit: Days 5-6 – September 23 24
Hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs, this conference segment will be made up of panels and talks by blockchain pioneers and industry leaders. Discussions will focus on the fight against current and future use cases, economic and social impacts, as well as how blockchain technology can be used and deployed for trade and other industries.
