In a significant development for one of the largest non -profit organizations in Crypto, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) has revealed a new leadership structure made up of two co -directors. This decision comes after the offender of the members of the community on recent difficulties and the problems of the ETH ecosystem.
EF presents two executive directors
On Saturday March 1, the Ethereum Foundation unveiled its new leadership structure made up of two co-executive directors-HSIAO-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak. This new structure will be implemented following the changes which saw the former executive director Aya Miyaguchi assume the role of the president of the organization.
Wang, an EF principal researcher, has experience in several research areas and has been a major contributor to the Ethereum tag chain – launched in December 2020. “Like Ethereum continues to evolve, the EF – but the fundamental values that we have supported for years remain unchanged”
Stańczak is the founder of Nethermind, one of the biggest executive customers of the Ethereum blockchain. According to the announcement blog post, the Crypto founder will seek to reproduce the Recruitment and Talent Training Pipeline from Nethermind de Nethermind at the Foundation.

Under the supervision of HSIAO-Wei and Tomasz, EF will ensure that Ethereum and the ecosystem can grow while ensuring that this growth increases the fundamental values which motivated the existence of Ethereum in the first place, such as open source, global collaboration without permission, confidentiality and security.
Wang and Stéains will resume their new roles as co-directors of the Foundation on March 17, 2025. It should be noted that Stéńczak “will continue to be involved in Nethermind, but is getting out of its CEO”.
Danny Ryan returns to the Ethereum ecosystem
Wang is not the only EF researcher to assume a higher role in the ecosystem. The former developer Danny Ryan will now return as co-founder of Etherealize, who will serve as Institutional marketing and product arm for Ethereum ecosystem. The leadership position at Eherarealize will be shared with Vivek Raman.
Ryan said in a post on X:
Our work in (etherealize) is at the confluence of real adoption, common sense regulations, the development of ecosystems and critical R&D through L1, L2, and the application layer. Where (Vivek) Serves as a real world bridge in Ethereum, I will be back from Pont d’Ethereum in the real world.
When writing these lines, the ether token is estimated at $ 2,212, reflecting a price drop of 20% in the last seven days.
