The Ethereum Foundation welcomes Microsoft as the first Sponsor of Devcon2, Shanghai September 19-21, 2016

London, United Kingdom, June 14, 2016 – The Ethereum Foundation is pleased to announce Microsoft as the first Sponsor of DEVCON2, the Conference of Ethereum developers in Shanghai, September 19-21, 2016.

DEVCON2, which will present the most recent research and development work supported by the Foundation, also represents the conference of the developer focused on Ethereum the most complete to date.

The chief scientist of the Ethereum Foundation, Vitalik Buterin, notes that “we are very happy to have the sponsorship of Microsoft for Devcon2 and strongly appreciate their continuous support and collaboration with the Ethereum Foundation and the Ethereum ecosystem. We look forward to continuing to work together in the future. ”

Microsoft, a first leader with his Blockchain as a service (Baas)Provides an open and hyperscal cloud platform and an expanding ecosystem of blockchain technologies for companies, consortia and governments that seek to adopt technology. As part of the conference, Ethereum developers will hear Microsoft experts and will discover Microsoft Azure’s main tools for the development of Blockchain technology.

“We are delighted to support the Devcon2 of the Ethereum Foundation, which will bring together blockchain pioneers from around the world,” said Marley Gray, director of blockchain and commercial development of the big distributed book, Microsoft. “The Ethereum blockchain is powerful, and we are impatient to continue the collaborative relationship with the Ethereum community, bringing together the best of blockchain technology to our cloud platform, Microsoft Azure.”

While Devcon2 continues to be an independent event, this year, it is presented as part of the International Blockchain Week as well as the events of the Wanxiang Blockchain Labs. The unique and unique site format works to provide both the Devcon2 focused on the development and events of the World Summit focused on business and industry in one week to facilitate greater interaction and cross -pollination between people involved in different fields or aspects of blockchain technology.
