The data show that the change of demand from Bitcoin retail investors has become negative, a sign that small hands lose the interest of the cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin’s retail volume has dropped in the last month

In a new article on X, the cryptocurrency community analyst Maartunn spoke of the latest trend in the change in demand for retail investors Bitcoin, which is a chain indicator that measures the 30 -day change in the request of retail holders.

Retail investors are the smallest entities in the network. As such, the size of their transfers also tends to be small. The change in requests for retail investors uses the volume of transactions associated with transfers with a value of $ 10,000 as an indirect demand indicator among this cohort.

When the value of the metric is positive, this means that the volume of retail investors experienced an increase of last month. On the other hand, he is under zero suggests that this group has lowered its activity.

Now here is a table that shows the trend in the change in demand for Bitcoin retail investors in recent years:

As displayed in the above graph, the change in demand for Bitcoin retail investors increased to a significant positive level earlier, but as the top of all time (ATH) of the asset greater than $ 124,000, the metric value has fallen quickly and has now plunged into the negative area.

The current value of the indicator suggests that the transaction volume associated with transfers evaluated at less than $ 10,000 fell by approximately 5.7% in last month. Thus, it seems that retail investors leave cryptocurrency.

“These are the tourists of the cryptography market here for the media threw, disappeared when it fades,” notes Maartunn. The last flip in the feeling of retail has occurred while the price of Bitcoin has decreased by around 10% from ATH.

Since the graph, it is visible that the last time that the change in demand from retail investors fell into the negative region, it was about at the time of the drop of less than $ 100,000 of the BTC in June. What followed this lower feeling among the little hands is a wave of assets for the new Aths. It now remains to be seen if the beatenment fades among retail investors would also act as a annoying signal for cryptocurrency.

In some other news, the CRYP October Taurus score index, which tells us that the BTC phase is based on various chain indicators, has recently declined in the neutral region, while the analysis manager of the analytical company, Julio Moreno, underlined it in an X post.

“For risk management purposes, additional softening in the index indicates that the price could drop,” explains Moreno.

Bitcoin saw its withdrawal deepening during the last day, because its price slipped less than $ 112,300.
