The decentralized scholarships (DEX) reached 1 billion of dollars of monthly trading volume for the first time in July.
According to Defillama dataThe cash trading volume increased by 29.4% and reached nearly $ 514 billion last month, beaten only at the top of $ 568 billion in January.
At the same time, the monthly volume of Perpetual Futures increased by 33.6% to record a new summit of $ 487 billion, a hyperliquid recording a new record in the monthly perpetual trade.
BNB Dominance on site
For the third consecutive month, the BNB channel dominated the spot trading volumes. Channel volumes increased by 15.3% and totaled $ 196.3 billion in July, representing 38.2% of the monthly total.
Pancakeswap was the main engine of growth, which amounted to $ 188.2 billion in trading volume. The native BNB exchange volume is larger than the other four most combined dexxes, which represent around 168 billion dollars.
UNISWAP recorded the second punctual volume among the DEX in July, with $ 96.4 billion. Meanwhile, the decentralized exchanges based in Solana finished the first five.
Raydium, Meteora and Orca recorded $ 31.8 billion, $ 20 billion and $ 19.5 billion, respectively. The five largest blockchains in volume remained the same between June and July, with a single change.

Ethereum recorded the second largest monthly volume to almost $ 86 billion, increasing by 49.3% compared to June, while SOlana slipped from the second to third place in the monthly trading volume to the point despite an increase of 36.6% to reach $ 85.1 billion.
Base and Arbitrum have maintained their posts from June as blockchains of the fourth and fifth largest in volume of punctual trading, respectively.
The volume of the base increased by 46.8% and reached $ 41.6 billion, the first time that layer 2 blockchain has exceeded $ 40 billion since January. At the same time, Arbitrum was the only chain in the first five with a figure, reaching $ 19.2 billion in volume after jumping 7.4%.
The perpetuals of the hyperliquid reign
Hyperliquid has become the first blockchain to exceed the threshold of $ 300 billion in perpetual volume, reaching $ 323.4 billion in July after growth of 48.3%.
The volume exceeds 48.7 billion dollars of Ethereum by a large margin, which held the place of the second chain in larger chain in volume of perpetual negotiation last month. Despite the difference, Ethereum has increased by almost 56% since June.
The difference is even more important when decentralized exchanges for perpetual volumes are considered. The hyperliquidal reached $ 313.4 billion, dominating 64.3% of the market and displaying the Jupiter volume of $ 19.4 billion.
Solana, the BNB and Arbitrum chain conclude the first five in Perpetuals with $ 37.2 billion, $ 21.6 billion and $ 19 billion in volumes, respectively.
