Binance will delist the Unifi DAO (UNFI) protocol and cease trading on all spot trading pairs on November 6 at 3:00 UTC.

UNFI information

The Unifi Protocol is designed to revolutionize blockchain economics by using a stablecoin as a gas token. This approach eliminates transaction volatility and inflation, with the aim of building a sustainable blockchain model focused on economic predictability rather than creating another cryptocurrency.

Unifi Protocol operates on multiple blockchains and offers a suite of decentralized finance (DeFi) products, including a cross-chain bridge (uBridge), a multi-chain automated market maker (uTrade), and DeFi arbitrage strategies (DARBi). The protocol design aims to reduce reliance on inflationary gas tokens and provide a more sustainable blockchain economy. The network uses a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism for security, which allows for scalability and energy efficiency compared to Proof of Work (PoW).

UNFI is the governance token of the Unifi DAO protocol, allowing holders to propose and vote on changes to the protocol. The token plays a critical role in decentralization and governance across multiple blockchains. UNFI’s total supply is 10 million tokens, of which approximately 5.8 million are currently in circulation. UNFI is distributed through Binance Launchpool and staking initiatives, with liquidity supported on various chains.
