Decentralized Ethereum exchange Uniswap launched its V4 platform on Friday, relying on the previous versions by making liquidity pools Cheaper and unlock new development opportunities for manufacturers in industry.
Built via development contributions of more than 100 community members, the latest version of UNISWAP – described by the Uniswap Foundation As a “key milestone in the evolution of defi” – is now living on 12 channels, including networks of Ethereum Mainnet and layer 2 as an arbitrum and base, as well as tastes of avalanche and The BNB channel.
In addition to a reduction of 99.99% of costs for liquidity pools, UNISWAP V4 grants new opportunities to the introduction of hooks, or modular plugins which allow developers to personalize the pools, exchanges, costs and pool positions.
For example, a dynamic cost hook could allow automatic costs based on market conditions, while automatic hook would allow coherent rebalancing and optimization of a liquidity position.
Until now, more than 150 hooks have been developed as part of the subsidies and programs organized by the UNISWAP Foundation. The Foundation said that such improvements offer strong advantages and open up opportunities to reach several demographic data in crypto.
“For channels, V4 offers a path to overeat the growth of their DEFI ecosystems and support their developer communities. For protocol teams, V4 improves user experience and differentiate. And for developers, V4 provides a platform to create powerful applications of new defects, ”wrote the Foundation.
The latest version is now accessible for liquidity suppliers, with exchanges of V4 tokens are deploying in the coming days.
The UNISWAP V2 and V3 has facilitated more than 2.75 billions of dollars in Swaps to date. In the V4 building, the protocol hosted a $ 15.5 million bug bonus and owned nine separate safety audits to avoid any potential problem with the new version.
