Promoting the Bill Blockchain goes beyond the house

On Thursday, the Bitcoin Laws policies monitoring platform reported that the United States House of Representatives had adopted a Directorate Bill The US Secretary for Trade to direct national efforts to promote the competitiveness of the United States and the adoption of blockchain and other distributed major book (DLT).

According to the bill, co -packed by the Democratic representative Darren Soto, the secretary would be required to serve as a principal advisor to the president for the deployment, use, application and competitiveness of blockchain and other DLTs, and to take the necessary and appropriate actions to support American leaders in this sector.

These activities include the development of policies and recommendations on the risk of deployment of blockchain, while helping to promote the national security and economic security of the United States concerning blockchain technology.

In addition, he establishes that the American secretary of trade must encourage and improve coordination between federal agencies for the deployment of these technologies to provide federal support.

If signed, HR 1664 would also require the creation of advisory committees to support the adoption of blockchain technology in the first 180 days after the date of the promulgation of the law.

Following its bipartite support, cryptographic legislation was received by the Senate earlier this week to continue the legislative process.

The progress of the legislation on cryptography at Congress

The adoption of HB 1664 follows the stages of other encrypted cryptographic legislation at the Congress, which received significant bipartisan support in the two chambers. Recently, the bill linked to the stable, the law on engineering, adopted the full vote of the Senate and qualified in the House of Representatives.

Meanwhile, the bill on the structure of the House cryptography market, Clarity Act, adopted its two committee increases at the beginning of the month. However, the future of the two legislation seemed uncertain when some legislators pushed to fill the two bills.

As reported by the Bitcoinist, the leaders of the Chamber would have prompted to merge the law on engineering and the law on clarity to increase the chances of the Bills to pass the congress and to be sent to the office of the American president Donald Trump before the deadline for the August.

Nevertheless, the president of the senatorial banking committee, Tim Scott, revealed on Thursday a new calendar for the framework of the structure of the cryptographic market during a press event on Thursday, suggesting an effort to separate the invoices.

According to the summary of the crypto of the White House and the TSAR of the AI, the Tsar David Sacks of the new calendar, the legislation will be presented before the recess of August, followed by an increase during the first week of September and its last passage planned by the end of this month.

Sacks said that “President Trump supports clarity on the market structure as well as on the genius of stablecoins”, adding that “July will be a great month, with a bill signing for a genius, and the clarity going to the Senate!”
