BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The Vermont Department of Financial Regulation is surveying individuals, businesses and nonprofits about their concerns and interests regarding virtual currency kiosks.
A virtual currency kiosk is a platform where people can buy and send virtual currencies like cryptocurrencies.
The Department of Financial Regulation is required to report to the House Committee on Commerce and Economic Development and the Senate Committee on Finance on whether state and federal regulations are sufficient to protect Vermont customers from fraud.
