Ethereum (ETH) co-creator Vitalik Buterin is suddenly selling dozens of digital assets, including Neiro (NEIRO) and other memecoins.
According to market analysis platform Arkham Intelligence, Buterin on Monday sold Dogecoin (DOGE) and a number of other smaller market cap and lesser-known digital assets.
The channel’s pseudonymous analyst, EmberCN, provides a list of Buterin’s sales on social media platform X, identifying 28 memecoins sold for nearly $1 million in total.
The sales include 70 million Neiro for $74,095 and 92,000 DOGE for $35,233.
The on-chain analyst says it appears Buterin is consolidating his holdings to send donations to his charity Kanro.
Kanro is a biotechnology charity originally created by Buterin to combat COVID-19 and other pandemic-related issues.

“(Buterin) is again regularly selling memecoins donated to his wallet: “(On Monday) he sold a total of 28 memecoins for 984,000 USDC, then donated the USDC to Kanro’s address…
Some tokens have seen a sharp decline due to their small market capitalization and shallow pool depth. For example, DINU fell by 68% and SHIB by 38%.
This is not the first time Buterin has been spotted selling his digital assets to fund Kanro.
In October, blockchain journalist Colin Wu spotted Buterin selling around $340,000 worth of meme coins in half an hour.
