Key notes

  • An American courtyard blocked the prices of Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day”.
  • The reports suggest that the president did not have the authority on the import prices.
  • The blocking could trigger optimism around the financial markets.

The prices of the “Liberation Day” of American President Donald Trump were faced with a strong blockage of an American commercial court on May 28.

The American president has surpassed his authority by imposing general import taxes on countries with trade surpluses with the United States, Reuters reported.

The prices, imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers (IEEPA), were permanently blocked from the commercial court. According to the report, only the congress has the power to regulate these prices.

This decision strengthens the constitutional checks of the executive power, even on the American president. The Trump’s commercial court’s decision to show that trade policies are subject to an appropriate legislative examination.

Another bull opportunity?

Although there may be short -term confusion on active import taxes, prices will probably strengthen the optimism of investors in the financial markets.

Macroeconomic events have proven to have an impact on volatile crypto and stock markets – low capitalization assets generally see greater volatility.

The report of the United States Federal Committee on the market open on May 28 has sparked a slight correction on the financial markets. S&P 500 decreased by 0.56% and the global market capitalization of cryptography decreased by 0.2% to 3.42 billions of dollars.
