LINK tests $8.65 after United Stables integration

In today’s Chainlink news, LINK is trading near $8.60, down approximately -1.5% in 24 hours, after United Stables confirmed full adoption of Chainlink infrastructure, data feeds, proof of reserve, and an upcoming Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) integration, as its stablecoin U surpassed $1 billion in circulating supply.

The move positions Chainlink as a critical settlement layer for a stablecoin already seeing over $2.5 billion in daily trading volume, and traders are watching to see if this utility expansion can push LINK through its current resistance band.

NOW: United Stables adopts Chainlink as its official data oracle and cross-chain infrastructure to expand the distribution of native $1B+ U stablecoin to @BNBCHAIN through DeFi. @UTechStables chose Chainlink because it provides the institutional-grade security required globally. pic.twitter.com/Vt4IkZv1pT

According to United Stables’ announcement, the integration was triggered by a security review that identified fragmented liquidity, unverified pricing and bridge vulnerabilities as structural risks in existing Oracle infrastructure. Chainlink data feeds now provide decentralized pricing across more than 20 U-connected lending protocols, while proof of reserve gives counterparties on-chain cryptographic confirmation of the stablecoin’s collateral, a mix of cash, USDC, USDT, and USD1 held in separate accounts.

Athena, CEO of United Stables, described the integration as allowing institutional partners and DeFi protocols “to access verified pricing data and independently confirm U’s collateral 24 hours a day.” CCIP support for cross-chain transfers is planned but not yet operational.

LINK has fluctuated between $8.29 and $8.76 over the past 24 hours, according to Binance Square community data. The 4-hour trend is bullish; time is neutral, a classic setup where momentum is intact but not accelerating. Volume supporting the move exceeded $178 million during the 24-hour window, consistent with directional buying rather than noise.

Key levels are clearly defined. Support lies between $8.10 and $8.25, an area that buyers have defended over several sessions. Resistance lies at $8.65 and $8.80, and LINK has been pushing against this band following the news from United Stables.

Three scenarios are on the table:

Case of the bull: volume remains above the daily average, LINK closes above $8.65 on 4 hours and the next target becomes the psychological level of $9.00. A move towards double-digit rates has already been modeled, based on precisely this type of sustained institutional adoption.

Reference case: LINK consolidates between $8.30 and $8.65 for several sessions as the market digests the United Stables news without new catalysts.

Bear Case/Invalidation: A daily close below $8.10 would weaken the current structure and likely send LINK back towards the $7.80 area. Previous on-chain supply dynamics around Coinbase Prime withdrawals have shown how quickly LINK can reassess its price when institutional flows change.

LiquidChain targets early mover upside as Chainlink tests key levels

Chainlink’s news regarding its integration with United Stables highlights an enduring theme: infrastructure that resolves fragmentation across chains requires true adoption. LINK reflects the fact that, with a fully diluted market capitalization well north of $6.4 billion, the return profile for new entrants is compressed regardless of the resolution of the technical setup.

The asymmetric upside window has narrowed considerably compared to two years ago. Institutional adoption enablers, such as the DTCC tokenization partnership, are already, to some extent, integrated into LINK’s current lineup.

It is in this context that early-stage infrastructure plays attract attention during periods of consolidation of established chains. LiquidChain ($LIQUID) is one such project, a layer 3 (L3) infrastructure protocol positioning itself as a unified liquidity layer that merges liquidity from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana into a single execution environment.

The architecture is centered around four components: a unified liquidity layer, single-stage execution, verifiable settlement, and a single-deployment architecture that allows developers to deliver to all three ecosystems without redeployment. The presale is currently priced at $0.01482 per $LIQUID, with $915,460.07 raised to date.
