In a blog article of August 12, the Sandbox NFT team confirmed that it had teamed up with Casio to launch the virtual G-Shock collection that is not fascinable avatars in the Metaversse. According to this collaboration, Casio and the Sandbox NFT team plan to take advantage of the blockchain exhibition to launch the G-Shock Droid collection. This long -awaited NFT Avatar collection should be launched in September 2025.

Launched in November 2021, the sandbox is a metaverse platform based on renowned blockchain allowing users to create, own and monetize their game experiences and digital assets. It combines elements of play, NFT and decentralized finances (DEFI) on Ethereum blockchain. Users can build, explore and interact in the virtual world, buy and develop virtual land and create and exchange assets like NFT.
On the other hand, Casio is a multinational electronics manufacturing company whose headquarters are in Tokyo, Japan. The electronics company is known to produce a wide range of products, including watches, music instruments, calculators and electronic devices. Casio is recognized for its innovative and sustainable watches, such as the G-SHOCK series series, and its massive contribution to the development of the first compact all electric calculator.

Meanwhile, the Sandbox NFT team has launched the motorway list for the Avatar collection of non-bubble tokens G-Shock Droid. To join the Allange list, participants are required to have at least one sandbox avatar, a digital representation of a player who allows them to interact in the virtual world; Land, a virtual real estate part represented by a non -bubble token or the Jurassic World Egg, a high -end digital collection that unlocks the usefulness in the Metaversse NFT game.
From September 2025, the Sandbox and G-Shock will publish their first official Avatar collection inspired by the robot for the sandbox. The long-awaited NFT collection will include drawings from five of the brand’s most emblematic styles, including DW-5600, DW-6900, GA-110, GA-2100 and the oversized Ga-V01. Each avatar NFT will include a unique look and will offer gameplay improvements exclusive to the NFT sandbox ecosystem.
